Escondido Property Finder is an internet mapping application that provides a unique service to Escondido's business community. The Escondido Property Finder allows users to search for available retail, commercial, office, and industrial property in Escondido. How to Use Escondido Property Finder
To perform a search for available retail, commercial, office, or industrial space for lease or sale in Escondido, enter the minimum and maximum building size in square feet or land size in acres for the property type desired. After clicking the SEARCH PROPERTIES button, Escondido Property Finder will search the existing database of properties and list the ones that matched your criteria. Users can also search by parcel number or address for any property in the Escondido city limits.
Creating Demographic & Business Reports
After selecting a property from the list, users can create demographic reports by clicking the DEMOGRAPHICS tab in the upper right portion of the web page. This option consists of three different reports: Demographic Report, Consumer Expenditure, and Business and Workforce. These three types of reports are used to evaluate the demographic characteristics around a selected site. Users can also create business reports by clicking the BUSINESSES tab in the upper-right portion of the web page. This option maps clusters of businesses around a selected site and categorizes them by SIC code. This report provides useful insight into potential competition or synergy around a site.
Select the type of report you want to generate and enter the distance around the site you want included in the report. After clicking the CALCULATE button, Escondido Property Finder will generate the report. For a printer-friendly format, select the PRINTABLE option.
Viewing parcel information for any parcel in Escondido requires the use of the map display's ZOOM, PAN, and IDENTIFY features. Use the zoom and pan tool to find the parcel you wish to view. After locating the parcel, click the IDENTIFY button to activate it. Click the parcel.
If you know the parcel number of the parcel you wish to lookup, enter it in the PARCEL NUMBER field and click the SEARCH BY PARCEL button. Escondido Property Finder will search the database, zoom to the parcel in the map display, and display information about the parcel.
Access to Add Available Properties
One of the unique aspects of Escondido Property Finder is the ability to post available properties to the searchable database. If you are a realtor with Escondido listings or a property owner with vacant (non-residential) space for lease or sale, you can apply for a login and password. Access to post available commercial, retail, office, and industrial space on Escondido Property Finder is FREE of charge. Do not pass up an opportunity to expose your listing(s) to hundreds of visitors to Escondido's web site every day!

One of the unique aspects of Escondido Property Finder is its use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to view data layers in the map display. Information such as zoning, traffic counts, school locations, and aerial imagery can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate box next to the layer(s) to be viewed. After clicking on the data layer(s) to view, clicking the DISPLAY button will refresh the map to show the data layer(s) selected. The legend, located to the right of the clickable layers, will define the selected layer(s) chosen by the user to view. Please note that certain layers, such as zoning and land use, are not meant to be viewed simultaneously. Also, using the zoom tool in the map display will automatically turn on some layers, depending on the zoom extent.
