The holiday season is here, and our community is full of festive events for the whole family. A few upcoming events are highlighted below, and a comprehensive list of events is available on the Visit Escondido calendar.

Happy Thanksgiving, Escondido!

Happy Thanksgiving from the City of Escondido! In this season of thanks, we're grateful for our vibrant community, the dedication of our residents, and the unity that defines us.

City offices will be closed November 23 and 24 in observance of the holiday, with emergency services always available.

The Weekly Activity Report will resume on December 30.

Veterans Day

Thank you to all of our veterans, both near and far. We are forever thankful for your sacrifice and service. City facilities will be closed on November 10 in observance of Veterans Day.

Short Term Rental Community Meeting and Survey

The City is interested in your input on how the rental of a residence, or a part of a residence, for less than 30 consecutive days is regulated.
