Start Your Business

• Apply for your business license online. Every business located in Escondido or conducting business in Escondido requires a business license. Vendors attending and selling at one-day events in Escondido do not require a business license, but must be a registered vendor with the event organizer. Contact Business License for assistance in completing your application. Visit the Business License Counter Monday through Thursday 9am to 12:30pm or by appointment, as of Monday June 12, 2023. 
• Search available commercial real estate for lease or sale. 
• Explore data on key industries and economic trends in Escondido. 
• Work with a small business advisor to complete all of the steps to establish your business. 

Grow Your Business

• Grants are now available for small business building improvements.
• Explore regional, state, and federal financial incentives and programs.
